Quincy Brown or simply Quincy as he’s known to his fans across social media, is the oldest son of entertainment/beverage mogul Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs and model Kim Porter. Quincy was raised by combs as his own as Quincy’s biological father, the 1990s singer Al B. Sure was absent from his life. In fact Combs adopted Quincy giving him the Combs last name. Growing up around music and fashion set an inevitable path for Quincy now 23 years old. While younger brother Justin has chosen to focus on his NFL dreams playing Defensive Back at UCLA for the Bruins, Quincy went into the family business of music, film and fashion and has done so mostly on his own, especially on the music side. Quincy on his own has released a slew of music and videos which has helped him to amass a big following. During a recent interview with the breakfast club which airs a show on his father’s Revolt cable network, Quincy was asked if he was interest in being signed by his father, and he said no. It’s this independent drive that has lead to lucrative fashion and film deals for this rising star. He’s apparently but not shockingly very popular with the ladies in Hollywood and has been linked to many. In the interview below, he admits being in a relationship with a well known female celebrity but doesn’t disclose who the person is.
His latest single “Friends First” featuring rapper French Montana like the first two before it has gained respectable attention on social media and even radio.
His latest film is called “Brotherly Love”. He co-stars alongside KeKe Palmer , Cory Hardrict, Macy Gray, Romeo Miller and Malik Yoba & Faizon Love. The film is about Sergio Taylor (Eric D. Hill Jr.) a rising basketball star who deals with the early pressures of fame. Alongside older brother June (Cory Hardrict), who lost his own hoop dreams to the streets to provide for the family after their father’s death, and sister Jackie (KeKe Palmer), whose own musical ambitions are sidetracked by love, Sergio faces life-altering decisions on the streets of Philly. Quincy’s character Chris Collins is the love interest of KeKe Palmer’s (Jackie). Its like a modern urban Romeo and Juliet. This isn’t Quincy’s first time on screen. He’s appeared/starred in the films “We The Party”, “Dope”, “Street” and has guest starred on an episode of “CSI”. Watch the trailer below:
In addition to his acting and music, Quincy has been busy making the fashion industry rounds as well. He’s represented by major model management firm Wilhelmina and has appeared in fashion spreads for Sean John (of course) and other labels. He plans to go full speed ahead on the runways and more fashion spreads and has been updating his portfolio with every changing look. This is no doubt Quincy’s time to make his mark and build his own empire. Each year he and friend Chris Brown hosts “Kick’n It For Charity” a Celebrity Kickball Game which raised thousands of dollars last year. The event has gained a lot of traction, attracting major celebrities willing to give their time to raise money. Though he has expressed some interest in one day running Combs Enterprises with his siblings which consists of Bad Boy Entertainment, Sean John, Combs Wine and Spirits and Revolt Media, he his focused for now on building his own thing and so far, we think he’s off to a great start.
